Something Fishy?

Can someone explain to me why the beach-cam is showing the Space Spiral at the bottom of the tower, while the Wicked Twister cam shows it at the top?

Both cams read as "live".

I think it's time to call in Mulder & Scully: there may be a conspiracy afoot . . .

The cameras refresh every 5 minutes and the chance they all refresh at the same time are probably slim. They may have been testing the ride and one cam caught it up and one cam caught it down.

Actually the cameras refresh every minute if you watch the time. But the construction cam is 5 finutes behind for some reason. It's like they are watching the pictures and deleting certain pictures.

Around 2pm today, the construction cam showed the que line completely empty...the way it looked last week

At 230, everything was back....did they maybe loop in old footage so they could test the ride...

did anyone else see this?

That stinks. I was watching the webcam intently because there were a bunch of peopl egathering around WT between 145 and 2:15 I was dondering what was going on. I watched a few minutes more hoping to see something but the next thing I knew I was waking up at 10 to 3pm.

I noticed that just before 2:00 the cam stopped refreshing. I believe it was stuck at 1:56:31 (IIRC), but I didn't get a chance to view it after that.
I really do wonder if they stop the camera from refreshing when they are testing. On more than one occasion I have seen the cam 15-20 minutes or more behind. Perhaps if they are in fact doing that, they are doing it because there hasn't been an official announcement that they have begun testing. I'm assuming the next diary entry will be about that, then they might let us see the testing. My .02

I wouldn't be suprised if they updated the pictures, but if there wasn't a diary entry until after opening day.

The cameras refresh every minute and the time that is on the picture is probably taken from the computer they are being processed on. The computer times are not in sync.

Also, I would doubt they have all the cameras taking pictures at exactly the same time. Doing this would cause refresh times to lag and you would get many more dead link errors. My guess is they keep the times off sync to help with all this.

my 2 cents....
