Someone rip my ears off!

I just spent half an hour arguing with someone that the Magnium was NOT sinking.

Some highlights:

-She didn't even know the name of the ride.
-Her sister told her so.
-"They need to buy more land to move it"
-She spent half the time saying "Yes it is".

I did the whole "April Fools joke. Its not happening" thing. But would she listen? NOOOOOO!

Someone kill me now.....Ahhhh!

Wait a minute, I thought they painted Magnum blue and moved it to the other side of the park. Thats why I haven't been there much this year.

Someone tired to convince me that it was getting sold. I think he wanted to fight me after I told him he was wrong.

You are so off. Maggie's being sold to some Canadian park for an undisclosed amount.

I heard the dumbest/funniest thing today, I cant decide which one. My neighbor, who does not joke around a lot, came up to me and told me that Millennium Force was getting sent to MI Adventure...riiiight.

Welcome to the Magnum XL-200, the coaster featured most on the Discovery Channel.

MIA needs a ride, but not MF.

We want something different. Not a record setter...just different. We have wood and need steel. Come on, Cedar Fair! Put something where the train goes!

Something steel.

It says:

Fact or Fiction?

Contrary to popular belief, the Magnum XL-200 is not sinking and it is not being sold. It's speculated that the rumors originated from an April Fools Day spoof. An Ohio newspaper printed the falsehoods as part of a joke that snowballed and has escalated with the arrival of the internet.

There you have it.

Actually, it originated among the employees before the papers got wind of it and published it for April Fools.

I heard a new one from my sister. WT is going to be moved because of the sand getting in the computers and messing it up. Thats why its been closed for awhile in the beginning of the year. I just laughed at her! My cousin also tried to convince me Magnum was sinking, she even rode it a lot of times on her last visit because she thought it was going to be sold!!!

Actually, VertiGo was melted down to make the steel for Wicked Twister. Thats why she was cracking this season!

Boy do I love rumors, especially ones that are so untrue you just like spreading them around to see what happens!

Stupid people amuse me. Like the drunk guy behind me in line for MF Friday night who insisted he worked at Mantis last year yet knew nothing about the ride, insisted that Freeway cost $9.00 this year and $32 last year, and insisted that his dad, Mr. Oak, owned the park.
