I'm going to CP in July 29-30 and I have a few questions:
1. Who will be working there on what rides? What do you look like? I'll try to say hi.
2. Will the MF theme probably be back by then?
4. Are my chances good that MF and WT won't be broken down these days?
5. I'm staying at Breakers (sry if this has been answered before) How early can I get in? Do I have to use the main entrance? How are the lines at that time? Can you usually hit both MF and WT in that time period?
Thanks! ~Dan
Well,
4. No one could tell you, but most likely WT should have its problems worked out by then. Both times Ive been there its been open all day luckily.

Whether you get to ride both MF and WT will depend on the lines. ERT is for both hotel guests and Season Pass holders, so it really depends how many show up and which ride people rush to first.

Without upstops, airtime would have a whole new meaning!

During the three days I was at Cedar Point (we stayed in the Sandcastle), Wicked Twister was not open for the ERT. Raptor was open instead. Millennium Force was open, but the line got long fairly quick. ERT should start at 9am and at 9:30 the general public is allowed to enter. My suggestion is be ready to board a shuttle around 8:30 (we had to wait a while because of the large number of guests already waiting), enter at the Marina (you can use any entrance) and go straight for Millennium Force. If you are lucky you can be on and off by 9:15 and get back in line while there is only a 20-30 minute wait. After that the line reached the 45 min.-1 hour mark. Now is when you head over to Wicked Twister. 2 out of the 3 days we stayed WT opened at 10am.
As far as some of the other questions, the MF theme was not on in the station during my stay, however, the DJ's did play it periodically.
No one can predict what will happen with the rides, but I don't believe either were down for more than a total of 2 hours the entire trip
Hope that helps some,
John
