Soak City swim up bar...

How is it? Are the drinks super overpriced? Most of all, do they skimp on the alcohol? ;)

It's ok as far as swim up bars go. Prices are to be expected I suppose. And they don't skimp.

It'd be nice to them update/renovate it but I'm sure that's far down on their to do list.

How does it work, even? I mean, swimsuits don't have pockets, and I'm not carrying my wallet with me through the waterpark (because... no pockets). Do they run you up a tab, or do you have to bring your stuff in with you? (My apologies if this sounds dumb, I've just never been to the pool bar before.)

I just put my credit card or money in my swim trunk pockets. Some people have little water proof plastic containers for their money or credit card. Other than that, it works just like any other bar.

Where are the Cedar Point magic bands when you need them?

Promoter of fog.

Many guy swimsuits do have at least one inner pocket. Plus, cash isn't hurt by pool water.

they sell little pouches you can put around your neck, but i have a small pocket just big enough for a credit card, and since it's just a pice of plastic nothing happens. Works great.

Drinks, a little on the expensive side, but what do you expect? liquir content, well, I don't drink, so when I have 1 or two at the bar (someone always peer pressures me into having some) I get a little tipsy, So it seems pretty good..

I like the keep the plastic cups too!

Sit there long enough on a slow day and the drinks will be made with no attention to company policy :)

Considering that they don't skimp on the pour, and the beers are large, I find the resort prices to be not too bad of a value.

Oh boy. I know I'm getting old when CPBoy is old enough to drink!

It's like any bar... be nice to, and take care of, the bartender, and you'll be bombed within a few drinks. If that's your goal, that is.

I find it funny that people of any age must show ID to enter. That's the policy. Absolutely no discernment of common sense on the part of the person sitting at the entry gate.

A Kick in the Head was pretty tasty.
