Soak City should get a Master Blaster

I watched the waterpark countdown on the Travel Channel and they showed the Master Blaster at Schlitterbahn and I thought that would be cool for CP. The slide is different as the water shoots out allowing riders to slide up and down hills.
Besides Soak City is due for a new attraction anyways.
I agree that it would be great for CP to get a Master Blaster for Soak City. It would be nice to have an addition there. If they do add a ride like this, I think that they should also add a Roller Soaker across the park in the area of White Water Landing and above Thunder Canton's layout. They could install water guns to Thunder Canyon's queue and/or TC riders. Then the riders of the Roller Soaker could have 1 or multiple water canons to drop on the TC boats.

The could add both in the same year and it could be the feature of that summer. It would definitely be another step in the family ride department!

That would be awsome if they both of those, they could put the master blaster type ride where the "beach" is in the middle of the lazy river and extend it over it. I also think that they should build a royal flush type ride and a halfpipe slide.

I have brought up the idea of a hydro blaster over Thunder Canyone before. I think the interaction of the rides would be great.

As for a Master Blaster, it is hard for me to believe that Soak City hasn't received one yet. I don't know what kind of maintenance issues it might have but that is the only reason I can think of that CP may be avoiding it.

I forgot who thought up that idea of the Roller Soaker...Props to Chief Wahoo.

I think that it's logical, it would add a whole new element to Thunder Canyon, and it would also add to the coaster count.

Um... er... call me stupid, but I'm not quite sure as to what you guys are talking about. Does anyone have a link where I can look at something similar to what you're describing? Thanks. :)

I think it would be great if they could run a layout that would go over Thunder Canyon and the runout/lake area of Snake River Falls. That way, the people on the coaster could get people on the midway and both rides.

Even better, you could set up guns in viewing areas and let the non-riders return fire.

The only drawback is that people who don't want to get wet would be in harm's way. I guess they could build a new midway extension around the "splash zone". Maybe they could put a bridge over the lagoon from the Mill parallel to the Mine Ride.

Or better yet...

Pretty much get ride of Swan Boats.. and have the majority of the ride over the swan boat area and the overflow queue for TC which I haven't seen used since the 80's.

Could always move wave swinger somewhere if they wanted to keep that queue.

How much clearance is there under the stone bridge that connects the TC midway to the Wave Swinger area? I was think that it could dive under there, but it's probably too short of a rise there.
I like the idea of it crossing over to the Snake pond. Really, if they had it cross over the stone bridge it would minimize the area over the midway so guests that wouldn't want to get wet could avoid it easier that way.

I totaly agree with the master blaster, or they really need one of the fake surfing things. Those look amazing. Does anyone know when soak city is getting anything new? It's been a while.

The surfing pool thing you are talkign about you'll never see at CP.. it only allows one person at a time for saety reasons. Yes they look insane.. but capacity..

Or you could limit the ride time. Those are a lot of fun! And PKI has one! They could probably do a dual one as well. And I mean dual as two, side by side. It would be great! I think but I'm not sure but Knott's water park has them too! I also think a Royal Flush ride would work really well!
