Whats the best part to soak city to you? This will be my first time there, and i wanna know how fun it is!
Cedar Point = Life. <3
Staring at all the ladies walking by with their big, beautiful.................
................beach towels.
Actually, I could spend the entire day in the original lazy river. If money were no object I'd spend the whole day at the swim-up bar.

Eerie Falls is my absolute favorite. This is the 3 enclosed water slides that are intertwined with each other. And as far as all of the slides are concerned, I hope you don't mind climbing lots and lots of stairs :)
Everywhere in my opinion..I dont really have a favorite part but if i had to pick i would probably say..the slide that has the big ring raft..but you have to have like 4 people in order for it to actually be fun.
Total Maverick rides for the 2007 season = 27
Top 5--- 1. Maverick- 2. Millennium 3. Magnum 4. TTD 5. Gemini
Cavs- 2007 Eastern Conference Champions!.-
I really think that the Eerie Falls is the greatest ride in Soak City. Yet if you want the greatest thrill ride the zoom flume. Also over the two rivers go for the renegade river. It is a lot more fun. And if you really want to be soaked get to Soak Zone or something. I think that thing gets the wetest (if thats a word oh well)! Thats my two cents!

Renegade river with all the waves in it is my favorite

I haven't been to Soak City in probably 15 years (no, I'm not exaggerating).
How does it stack up to other waterparks? Any waterpark comparisons out there?

I think Soak City has really fallen behind in new technology and attractions this decade. Where's the master blaster, or the funnel, or the bowl slides, or racers, or surfing, etc.? Since there is a charge, I would expect a lot more from a "resort". Not saying you can not have fun, but for price, I expect more for my dollars! In the mid-nineties, this was an elite water park, but they have been too conservative since.

Second the Renegade river, I practically just park myself there the whole time Im there:
1. Waves
2. Random spots where they keep you wet
3. Great shots of Magnum
4. Im spoiled since Ive been to most of the industry leaders (Noah's Ark, Water Country USA, Schlitterbahn, the Disney Parks) that none of the slides I really think is worth the wait. The Renegade river, though is frankly fantastic, and a great way to avoid the midday heat on the Point.
I would definately recommend Renegade River if you want to enjoy a nice raft type ride with some surprises along the way. In slide terms, eerie falls definately is my favorite. If you are over 21, I would recommend setting up in the adults only section. It is a good way to kick back and relax without really having to worry about kids trampling over your stuff and the swim-up bar is definately a plus. You also get a nice view of Lake Erie and you are close to Renegade River. Overall, Soak City is a great way to spend a day at the point and beat the heat. Enjoy.
Rest in Peace MrScott

If you are over 21, then the "adult area" is the place. A nice hot tub and a swim up bar. I sit in the hot tub for a long time and just watch Magnum go by!
Cedar Point, Americas rip- rockin', high flyin', sky defyin', record breakin' roller coast
Zoom Flume is my favorite of all.
