Soak City

I was just wondering what your thoughts were for Soak City in the future. Does anyone know of anything planned and/or what would you like to see!?

I would like to see some water slides like "Slidewinders" at BGW. Other than that I think SC is already the best.

Or say 50 years from now when CP may run out of room, would you like to have soak city go for more coasters, if at all possible? Just a thought!

I saw that on the Discovery Channel. That thing is awesome!

Just think about it 50 = @ 25 coasters. SSSWWWWEEEEEEETTTTT!

It's a single-rail suspended coaster made by Setpoint with four seats, two back-to-back, armed with water cannons. There are also water guns in the queue and various other geysers spraying water about.

Is there any slide at SS like Disney's Summet Plummet (free fall waterslide)? I've never been there. I usually only go for a day at a time and SS is usually lower in priority than the coasters :)

I like soak city....its cool....but I cant stand the texture of the floor of the wavepool....I f'ed up my knees in there....but they need more speed slides...I agree......but id rather spend time on coasters than at SC...

Hey Jeff, thanks for remembering my idea from awhile back. I also would like to see a "Master Blaster" type slide. I've never been on one of these, but they look fun the way that they can go up and down hill.

I don't think that Cedar Point would ever get rid of Soak City for more coasters. They are making too much revenue off of having a second gated attraction on the peninsula.

Yes, master blaster slides are very cool. I was on one at the beach, in cincy, by kings island. It's so much fun, even if it's in a disgustingly dirty park, but it was so cool going uphill on a water slide, and then going into the big dive at the end. If you ever have time to kill in cincinatti, give it a try, they have some unique stuff there, even though there's corporate sponsorship EVERYWHERE.

If Soak City got a super saturator, would CP have 15 coasters? Or would it be split up as 14 at CP and 1 at Soak City?

Being an ardent Soak City fan, I have been wondering when we'd get a new addition. I was hoping for something this year, but here's my wish list anyhow:
One of the following:
1. Super Saturator
2. Master Blaster
Both preferably record breakers (duh)
AND OF COURSE SOAK CITY ABSOLUTELY NEEDS IN ADDITION
The world's tallest, fastest, speed slide with the steepest descent.
