So where are these things now?

Does anyone remember Dorthy, the Disaster Transport alien? Or how about the Pirate Ride characters? I know a handfull of Cedar Point props are recycled for HalloWeekends, but does anyone ever wonder what happens to the rest of them? Sure, some of them are sent to a dumpster probably behind Mean Streak, but can anyone else name a couple of props they have wondered about, or have seen during HalloWeekends?

I've seen some sold on Ebay, some are scrapped, some in private collections and the park probably still owns the rest. I've seen the Paddlewheel Excursions Canfields and McGees guys by the Maverick infield during Halloweekends. The Pirate Ride characters were used for many Halloweekends after the ride's demise, especially by the old Ocean Motion location. I'm sure you've seen the old Wildcat and DT cars for HW last year?

Ah, yes. I also recall seeing some of the DT wall designs from the breaks at the end of the ride inside the newer Eden Musee haunted house. They are in the boiler room section and are painted gray. I think some of the old Happy Jack's Toy Factory props are in CarnEvil, if I am not mistaken?

Isn't one of the old Wildcat trains, in the Cedar Fair building? I think it was also shown in the Cedar Point Christmas video.

It probably is, but there is another one (purple if I am not mistaken) by a trio of skeletons who stand in front of Gemini during HalloWeekends. The old DT car is next to Power Tower. Last time I rode Mine Ride, I saw the Couger and Elkton John shrouded by bushes and overgrown with weeds. Does anyone know if they have been removed yet?

I also just caught a glimpse of a familiar Giraffe in Mean Streak's infield, behind Eden Musee.:)
