So, how is it.....

Have any of yall done the running to MF from the opening gates? Since, this will be my only trip to CP, I plan on making it the best I can, so I am going to run with the bulls or whatever you call it. I just wanted to know, if any of yall have done it, and is there any short cuts or something. Also, is it fun?

Your best bet is to go to the Marina gate. Park in the main lot and walk around to the left of the main gate, through the bus lot along the road to the Marina gate. This will cut your running distance by half at least. Go right in and go left past the Good Time Theater, past Wildcat, the train, across the tracks and MF will be right there. I've done this many times and I've always been on within 15 minutes.

After MF, you might want to hit Mantis if its wait isn't long yet and then go straight to the back of the park and start working your way forward. It takes a good hour before the back of the park fills up so you can have short waits on Magnum, Mean Streak, Gemini, etc.

Hey man, thanks for the help! I will use it. Man I can't wait to go!! (A week from this sunday I'm starting my trip up there, and im going to the oark tues and wed)

I love using my tricks when I show people around the park! My favorite reaction was from my ex-girlfriend's dad, upon seeing the running of the bulls, who said, "They really do run! I thought they only did that for TV!" :)

Oh yea, by the way, the Cedar Point documentary re-airs this Sunday night at 8PM on the Discovery Channel followed at 9 by Top 10 Coasters 2002. Catch Raptor Jo on Magnum and even a glimpse of my butt checking lapbars! :)
