Snoopy Bounce

I'm pretty surprised no one mentioned this cuz it's pretty noticable, but I went last Saturday only to see that Snoopy Bounce has bounced away.  I talked to Pugsly in Camp Snoopy and he said that it blew away, and now there is just an open spot where snoopy belongs.  :(  Anyone have any clue about this?  It's pretty hard to miss a huge inflatable snoopy!  Is he ok? Popped? Will he return next year?  Anyone know?

I noticed that also. All I saw was a cement slab where snoopy used to sit.

They took it down because of the 50-60 MPH winds last week. It will be back next year.
Well I don't think they took him down.  The TL said it blew away in the ferce winds they had.
LOL! I could just see it now...somebody out on the lake with their boat, and seeing a huge Snoopy floating towards them! Good greif!! ;)

Hey it's happened before with other inflatables... a few years ago, a huge penguin inflatable in Detroit's Thanksgiving Parade escaped and floated over Lake St. Clair for sometime before it landed in Canada (I think Canada... don't remember the whole story.)

I don't think it's a big secret that snoopy isn't filled full of helium or else all the kids that bounce inside him would come out "sqeaky voiced" and such.  I think it's probably safe to say they turned off the motor that keeps himinflated and put him away for the season, or the wind did blow him, straight into a nearby tree and tore a hole in him that would flatten him. I think it's safe to say either one of these happened and not the whole blowing away idea. He does have a blower motor and a pretty big one as evident by the shed behind him...  just a thought.

Gotta love that airtime on Blue Streak...

I know that the winds at CP have at least twice been fierce enough to tear the laser show screen.
