Snake River Favorites

My favorite Snake River Falls memory was on July 4th, 1993 (year opened) Just before the fireworks I remember thinking it was a huge ride, because I'd never seen a water ride that tall. I remember splashing into the water at the top of the hill/tunnel and how cold it was. Thinking I was gonna be covered in that water, I wanted to jump off. After the big finally I watched the fireworks, drenched in cold water! What are your best Snake River memories???

Power Tower turbo drop, 513 rides!
Mine was either 2 or 3 halloweekends ago. The very last day my friend and I rode it over and over, being the only ones on the ride they let us re-ride I think 6 times before getting off. Altogether we rode about 20 times. It was so cold that people standing and watching were actually applauding us.

I've only been on it once (the year it opened)  waited 3 hours with my mom and brother.  (no way will the wait ever be that long again LOL)

My mom hates getting her hair and glasses wet, seeing her get off that ride soaked was priceless.  That was a one time thing cuz she hasn't been on any water rides since.

I've only been on it once too - I can't stand getting wet like that (I'll go to Soak City instead!). But my favorite memory isn't on the ride itself, but the first time I stood on the bridge (won't do that too frequently either) -- I didn't expect it to be that heavy! The wave just looks more like mist, and I was really surprised, and got totally soaked in the front while my back was dry. So, of course, I had to turn around and at least even out. :)
