Snake River Falls

Ok...why can you stand at the bottom of the bridge (not ON the bridge, just at the bottom, kind of under it) for SNF for about 5-6 times, and only get misted...then BLAM...ONE time it hits you hard, and you are soaked?!?!! This scenerio happened to my son today. It actually looked as if he had rode the ride! This has never happened to anyone else I have seen stand on that clearing.

The weight and position of the people in the boat makes all the difference. Lots of weight in the front means the bow digs in at the bottom, and creates a huge wall of water. An empty boat, or one with most of the people in the back means the bow rises out of the water, and thus less water is thrown at the bridge.

Yes. Big people in front; Small people in back. = Big Splash :)
