Smiley face?

This was posted on the Cedar Point Lj community.. Anyone else aware of this?

I'd like to share a little magic secret about Cedar Point.

If you know where the off-park employee-dorms/apartments are (early on after you get onto the causeway, right after a McDonalds on your right side) there is a bridge between the dorms and the employee parking lot). If you are on the bridge, and look down on the road, facing away from the park, you can see a tar-smiley face in the road. Last I checked. The bridge is the best way to see it, because the face is right-side up from that angle

So, is the poster saying the smiley face is on the causway? or another street. I'm not to familiar with that area. I'm to busy looking at the Point across the water.

Likewise. It sounds like the smiley is on another street, but who knows. Sitting here at my PC, I am thinking I'll check it out on my way in in a few weeks, but once I'm on the Causeway, I'm sure it'll be a different story altogether.

If you are driving to Cedar Point, the "Smiley Face" is on the pavement right before you go under the employee bridge that connects the Commons complex to the parking lot.

However, do not bother looking for it from your car, as you will not be able to see it; first of all, it's black tar on black pavement, and although it is visible from above, that contrast isn't enough for viewing from a car. Secondly, as opposed to words like "x-walk" or "stop," which are elongated when painted on the street to make the word appear normal from car-level, this is not the case for this smiley face.

It's not that big of a deal. Go outside w/ a piece of chalk and draw a smiley face on the sidewalk. Pretty much the same thing here, just w/ different media.

Yep... it's there, and has been for years. Like Live E said ^^ ... don't bother looking from your car... you'd never see it. You can clearly see it from the walkway above the road though.

Not only is there a smiley face, but not right next to it (or not far from it) is "CP" in the pavement as well... I could run outside and check where exactly it is right now, but I'm not all that interested. ;) I know it's there, and that's enough for me.
