Ok, this is a somewhat dumb question, but Ill ask it anyways. My family is staying at Camper Village from next Sunday to Thursday. It would be a better deal for us to get the season pass. The back entrance by Challenge Park and Soak City accepts it, right?
Absolutely, a season pass is the way to go. This will allow you to make future trips this summer to the park. Even if you don't plan on coming again, the option is there. And yes the back entrance by Challenge Park does accept the season pass.

All Entrances (Resort/Soak City, Oceana/Wicked Twister, Main and Marina) accept all methods of entry, including tickets, CP Season Passes and eligible Sister Park season passes.
Eligible Sister Park passes are passes from any park except Geauga Lake or a Geauga Lake pass WITH Cedar Point add-on.

You probably already know this, but just in case, it's worth mentioning. You can only purchase/process your season pass up at the Season Pass Center by the main gate. Once you process and receive your pass, it can be used at any gate.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
But you can by a one day admission at any gate, save that receipt and have that amount deducted from the cost of a season pass later that day.
So, you can buy your ticket at the resort entrance (but not AT a resort), play in the park for a few hours working your way up front, run out to the Season Pass center and use your receipt and cash to purchase your season pass. You must however purchase the season pass on the same date you bought the ticket.

Does this work if you say bought 3-4 tickets, can you have the ammound deducted? probably a stupid question but ya im curious.
Also I will just throw this in here, Do you have to be going to soak city to park in the soak city parking lot? And if not do you just tell someone that you want to park back there when you pay?

Ok thats cool. You just take the perimeter road right? we usually come in on cedar point drive or whatever the road is with all the houses and the lake on either side. We dont come in on the actual causeway. I guess i would have to look at satelite pics and see where to go from there.
Thanks for you help though.

Just put your left blinker on at the road after the tollbooths, and go left. Make a right. Follow that around.
Or if you come in on the Chaussee, just go up to the blinker and make a right.
ok Thanks as always.

Try to get in line for the far left toll booth, because the parking attendants don't usually try to get the people in that lane to go towards the main parking lot. Sometimes the atendants will be very insistent about the other lanes though, so try to make sure you use the far left lane.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.
If you do however tell the toll booth attendent that you want to park in the Soak City lot, they will put a blue paper under your windshield wiper and a traffic director will point you in the right direction.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
im just gathering information so i dont mess up so dont get mad. But once im back there, which entrance would be better to use, and do i have to pay if i want to go in the magnum entrance, ive been looking where it is and it looks like its either inside the chalenge park or soak city its self. Ive been going to cedar point for years and years but i have never been back there or outside of the park. The farthest out of the park i have been is coral courtyards for my dads picnic.
The more i look at it the more i see that i dont think you have to pay.
But thanks to everyone for help. *** Edited 7/25/2006 9:10:48 PM UTC by cedarpoint24/7***

I think what you meant was do you have to pay to get into Soak City just to get to the Magnum entrance. The answer to that is no.
After you pay the $9 to park, you're free to park in the Soak City lot. Once you park, you simply go to the CP ticket booths/entrance rather than going to the Soak City ticket booths/entrance. There is no charge for just walking through Challenge Park.
I have a question also. This was the closest discussion to my question I could find. Can all guests use the beach? If the answer is yes, will the handstamps wash off in the lake? Thanks for you help.
It's the road with the houses on it.
