Having ridden Skyscraper once, I would have to rate the ride as the second more terrifying ride I have been on. The only ride experience I rank as more terrifying than Skyscraper is my first night ride on the Voyage.
Adam if you cannot find one I'll be there and would love to ride. I'm sure I'll be seeing you Sunday. Check your PMs.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
I love how all you people rode SkyScraper and never gave the awkward hello to any of us saying that you were from pointbuzz. I love those moments!
When I rode it I didn't know that any of the ops were from here. I will be sure to say hello tomorrow.

I rode it many times and said hello to you all, but I had no idea who was from pointbuzz or not when I see you operators. I know some ripcord/ skyscraper ops are on here, but I don't know who to tell when I ride. Sometimes I say I'm from pointbuzz in the past to other ops, and they look at me like I have 3 heads. I have met pointbuzzers at TTD and gemini once, and that's all. :) One of you guys/girls have flipped me and my friend around in the carraige once while still on the platform, but I don't know who's from the buzz or not. :)
^That was more than likely Jon. He wasn't a pointbuzzer, but he loved to flip the carriage pre-ride. The only thing is, when you flip that thing at the bottom, the people at the top get shaken like a paint can at Home Depot, so it makes it scarier for them, as well. Gotta love the giant spinning pencil!
I think that I have been on it 5 times this season, and will keep going, but I think if I ride it too much, then I will get sick of it soon. So now I will ride sparingly. I wish my boyfriend could ride it only if he didn't get so dizzy on rides. He would love your ride because he likes the adrenaline rush you get on rides, like me, but without the spinning.
I have never once said "hi I'm from pointbuzz" to the ops on SkyScraper, but I did say hi to Chris one day, and I'm pretty sure he knew who I was. In any case - it's the most relaxing ride there, and I wish I didn't have to pay for it every time. :)
There's one thing you can do to not ever pay for Skyscraper rides. Work on it. :)
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

I wish I knew my weekends would be consistent this year, cause I really want to be a screamster. :(
I think my favorite part of Skyscraper is the wind you feel going forward. When riding coasters, you don't get the sustained breeze that you do on Skyscraper. Especially when your 100 some feet in the air, upside-down.
I love flipping over and heading face first toward the ground. I also like that it goes both directions. The only other one I've ever been on, Katanga in Orlando, went one way that I remember.
Another nice thing about working there is staying on the ride as long as you want. For instance, ole Ralph Wiggum did 100 revolutions. I went about 20 straight minutes, which at 7-8 rpms figures to be somewhere in the mid-100's range. That's about $700 worth of rides in one sitting! All in all, I pulled 60 rides (of various lengths) this season. I'm waiting for Ralph to top that, seeing how he works weekends and all.
Actually, SkyScraper is the least vomit-inducing spinning ride I can think of. Since the thing is so flippin big, you don't get a sense of spinning as much as you would on a smaller ride like Witches Wheel. It's more of a flying sensation, with some flips thrown in. While I was working there (up until August 21) I think only one person threw up after riding it.
I find it more relaxing than anything. The flips just make it extra fun. I could ride it for 20 minutes, that would be awesome. I think I could also ride Witches Wheel for 20 minutes and fall alseep if I kept my eyes closed and it was a nice day out. Also very relaxing.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Having ridden it a second time, I have to agree that the nose dive is pretty exciting as well. I do think that the forward direction is a bit more "relaxing" than going backward.
