Skyride Problems?

Haven't seen this ride doing anything on the webcams for awhile.

Anyone know what the story is?

I don't know but I hope it's open on my visit on Tuesday...

I was at the park on July 26, and all of the cabins were in the stations, with big gates blocking the entrances.

I was there on July 28th and there were ladders and what looked like cables laying in the station

Going by what I saw on Thursday, they have the tension removed from the cable at the drive terminal so they can replace the bearings or other components under the bullwheel. That is a large job, so expect extended downtime.

On Friday the 29th, I noticed some threads of cable dangling near the first tower out from the west (north) station. Didn't think much of it. Hopefully it's up and running again soon. It's always a nice peaceful ride.

Its been down since july 17th,when i was there that weekend, they had the big gear box out over the south tower and the maintince guys were trying to put it back,looked to me they were really having problems with it.

Is Skyride open yet? I really want to ride it this Wednesday.

Yes it looks like it is now open if you look at the webcam I see it going with people on it.

You have no clue how many people ask me why it's down and get frustrated because it is hahaha
