Skyhawk down?

I just checked the CP webcams and it looks as if Skyahwk is down. Does anyone know if this is true?

According to the CP website,

"All rides are scheduled to be in operation today. Please keep in mind however, that all rides are subject to intermittent down time due to weather conditions or maintenance." End Quote

Just didnt know if anyone knew if it had been shut down again.

SkyHawk goes down a lot. And then back up, and back down, and then back up. It does this pretty much on a daily basis.

Oh, and sometimes it breaks.

I like the come back on that exit, thanks.

I think the major problem is soomething to do with it going into free swing. Last lime I witnessed it down, it had this problem

Yes it did. It was down for much of the day. Once the attendant was telling people that it was going to be down long enough "that he strongly reccommend they move on to another attraction". O MY GOD i checked the webcam and i think blue is streak is down is this true omg omg omg...

I was at the park on Thursday, in line for Skyhawk, and the brakes failed for one swing. It was going for about 10 min, just swinging.

^I talked to someone today while I was in line for MF. He was on the swing that wouldn't stop yesterday. At at time, a thunderstorm was blowing in. Then the restraints wouldn't release. He was stuck for a while. The ride was still down today. *** Edited 6/10/2006 1:48:15 AM UTC by laughingman6***

i was under the impression that SH does not have any brakes. I am not sure how it stops, but I imagine that the air pressure goes in reverse.

It looked to be that only one arm was working today.

I'm going to Cedar Point tomorrow and I have yet to ride Skyhawk, its going to be a party pooper if its not on and running because its nothing like Delirium or Ocean Motion.
