Sky Ride drama

Does anybody know what really occurred, and why? I read that a couple refused to get off.

Does Cedar Point have Ropes that drop when the park opens for the day. I keep hearing about this rope dropping.

A couple refused to get off and were taken away in handcuffs. They demanded to stay on to get a round-trip, when all they had to do was get off, go down the stairs, then come back up again.

I think the whole ordeal was about 30-45 minutes long.

Amazing where some people draw their line in the sand.

OK that's almost dumber. I saw a video somewhere on The Facebook of the incident and I assumed they were just refusing to get off the ride for an equally dumb reason.

I never thought to have a picnic lunch on the Sky Ride. Sounds romantic.

One time as a 13 year old boy I got flashed by a woman passing by in one of the buckets heading the other direction on the sky ride. I think of this moment every time I ride this ride to this day 😀

Gee whiz, all they wanted to do was enjoy this fine spread.
