Hmm, sounds like they possibly had to clamp the cable to remove or work on the bullwheel, bullwheel bearing or transmission. I've seen that on a ski lift and it caused some major downtime right in the middle of the ski season.

I was up there yesterday. The anemometer on the middle tower was *stopped*. I don't think the downtime was due to high winds. :)
I didn't investigate further, I just cursed the fact that I had to *walk* down the main midway.

I noticed that it didn't seem all that windy and it was closed. Windseeker was still running, so I figured it couldn't have been the wind. I also seen that they had some of the early entry fencing blocking the entrance of the sky ride. RideMan were you on Magnum right when the park closed? I think I was talking to you about King's Island and Son of Beast.
