Silver Support Pieces

On one of the photos (I have never done this before so i am not sure hoe to link to the photo) there is a large pile of silver support pieces (similar to MF's lift hill). Does anyone have an idea what these are for?

I think I saw those in another topic and they were calling them "cages" for the lack of knowledge as to what they are. I do not know for sure but I think they could be structure supports for the station. for the walls and stuff.

That is my best guess???

Best guess is that they're for the elevator for maintenance folk to go up the tower. They're about the same width as the supports sticking out of the horizontal platforms.

Im pretty sure Jeff is right. When I was walking by those pieces I saw a sign that read: Crushing Hazard: Stand clear of cabin. Could cause severe injuries or death.

Well this was in another topic before. I did not have a chance to see, or have somebody tell me about that crushing hazard sign. But I took a guess before and thought those "cages" might be the skeleton frame for the stations. But now that someone saw a hazard sign my station framework theory has pretty much been thrown out

what ever they are they'er light duty parts compaired to red tracking pieces I like the maintanence elevator idea best

I thought they were for an emergancy lift elevator to get up to the platforms.

The lift will more than likely be used for maintanence. I cant think of an emergency that they would use it for because I don't think the trains will stop anywhere on the top hat.

This would support the elevator theory. The footer has four botls commeing out of it, and it appears to be the same size as the cages. It's even in the right position

And if you look , you can see that there is a sort of track on the inside of the cage. Look at the two pieaces in the back- ground, its the black strip on the left side of the cages. You can see it on the right one in the forground. Upclose you can tell that a gear will ride along on the track, like a worm gear. Its the same kind of track (system) that the Raptor uses to ascend its lift hill to get people off only it will be vertical on #16. Im almost positive that there will be a motor on the elevator cabin that will climb its self to the top instead of using cables like MF.

What do you think they do with the turkeys at the Pet Farm?

Does it look like they are starting the elevator erection? I see a faint vertical line of something in the beach cam picture inside the tower at about the middle of the front face of the tower. It is just about even with the bottom of the second white piece of track on the right side of the tower. This line was not there last Friday. It shows up in webcam screen caps I got yesterday. Does anyone else see it? I don't see it on the demendrop cam but there may be an old spider web in the way.

I think you're right. It looks like they have the elevator (or at least part of the structure for the elevator) up to a little past the second level.

Its kinda ugly going straight up the center, should have put off to the side near one of the poles, would make more sense.
