Signs the season is coming

Today I went grocery shopping at Meijer (Perrysburg,) and low and behold the CP ticket kiosk was set up again! Certainly warmed this cold, blustery day for me

T Minus 89 days 15 hours and 40 min...

Now if only we could just get rid of the cold weather....

Well I quit shaving when the park closed, and my beard is approaching 1 foot in length so I know the park has gotta open sometime soon.

I can't wait for the park to open!!!

That's pretty much, if not exactly, what it said prior to the changes that were implemented last year.

Well on the last weekend it was open, I was at KI and they were running most of their coasters in the rain, so I hope they have reverted back to their old rain policy.

Now the question is if they will actually follow it. It was pretty normal for Blue Streak to go down in the lightest bit of rain for a while, even though we weren't supposed to go down except in heavy rain. If it kept raining we would usually end up going back up with one train, but there were times where it barely rained and we stayed down for quite a while.

Which is funny, because King's Island was one of the, if not the first park to implement the new policy, from what I understand.

How do you guys know when to shut the ride down? Does someone call you telling you when to do what?

Well I know its coming fast now because I just got a Job in Ride Operations yesterday!

I was listening to ZZ Top while I read this. I could only imagine...Make sure you film the shave for us.
