Sign on DT...?

Somebody on this site once stated that DT should be rethemed to something new, like Snoopy or something. I thought that would be a great idea, give it a rebirth. It's hard to believe that coaster is now 20 years old.

Lots of people have been saying that there are never any lines for DT. It has been said here on PointBuzz hundreds of times that the lines for DT are huge during the summer since the line area is air conditioned. Even when I went last May on a cold windy day it was the longest line I waited in.

I think it would be cool if they spruced it up a bit just to make it a bit more appealing because the way it is now is kind of boring. I'm not saying they should go out and spend a million dollars but a few improvements wouldn't hurt.

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Longest lines? I've NEVER waited more than 20 minutes even when the line for the carosaul was a half-hour. Of course, maybe it's just because I have no patience for DT and lines. Stick me under one of TTD's canopy's and that's all the air-conditioning I need.

Wait in line for DT? Are you crazy? That's like waiting for CCMR. If there's a line go away and come back later. Even if you don't ride, you won't miss much.

The reasons for long lines aren't always due to popularity for the ride. The reason DT tends to have a long wait is its low rider capacity. There's generally always an extra train or two sitting outside on the transfer track, while there's a room full of people waiting, I've never worked the ride so I'm not exactly sure why.

The Amazement Park

Well it also might be because the ride host who sits at the beginning of the line lies. One time I was entering the queue and asked him about how long, and he was like, "It's about 30 minutes. No, just kidding, it's like a minute." and I ended up waiting like 45min....jack*ss lol

its not their fault, its hard to stand outside a enclosed structure and guess the wait time with out connections to the inside

Every time I ride, the line always starts right at the tunnel with the handprints all over the walls after the first poster room. From that point it always ends up being about a 30-45 minute wait, but I can't complain because of that nice AC on a 85 degree day.

Cedar Point rocks my socks.

Yah! Another debate on DT! I was sondering when this was going to happen again. ;)
