Kay, What kinds of shows can I expect to see at CP? Which are not to be missed? what can I pass up and have no regrets? What the heck is the Imax michael jordan thing?
Thanks for the scoop!

I actually sat through the IMAX film yesterday.. and it wasn't bad.. some pretty cool footage of him in action.. Poor Reggie Miller.. hehehe
Also sat through the secret Preview of the country show on Friday at 7pm (shout out to Old Timer Tim who brought his family up after I told him about it.. hehehe). After having seen them rehearsing for teh last few days, and sitting in on a few rehersals before the park was open.. This show, while not the same as last year, is good..
No they don't do Devil Went Down to Georgia, but you will NOT be dissapointed at the Red Garter show for the first half of the season, second show?? I get to see in a few days at rehearsals.. I'll let ya know...
None of the other shows are open yet...
------------- MF 2000 - 269 laps
MF 2001 - Tell ya when I hit triple digits....
No Devil Went Down To Georgia??? Nooooooooo!!!!!!
------------- Joe McNally 01 MF Count - 3 Total MF Count - 17
True..we attended the special preview on Friday and while it does not have Duelin' Banjo's or Devil Went Down to Georgia, I am sure we will watch this show every time we are at the Point. The group is one of the most talented I have ever seen assembled. While I too miss the Devil...Todd still cooks up a mean fiddle and be sure to catch the "Gospel Country" part of the show..WOW. I hope the rest of the shows are of equal caliber. Back to the question at hand...MJ's movie is in the IMAX theatre. Generally you can't go wrong with sitting through one or more of the shows. It is a nice spot for a "cold one" and a refreshing way to cool off. I can't wait to see the steel drum band down by Raptor later in the summer.
gee...I am sad I will miss the steel drum band...maybe I will just have to come back! hee hee. Thanks for the scoop! I shall try to catch the shows fur-shur!
