Shows

Every year I go to CP I basically just go to ride ride ride, eat and people watch a little. This year I really want to slow down and enjoy everything the park has to offer. I'd like to stop and watch some shows. What do you guys reccommend? They can be informative, entertaining, whatever..

So what are some good shows worth stopping by to see? Don't forget Halloweekends. Thanks.

Cedar Point is closed for the season. Reason? Freezin!

I always like to see "Horray For Hollywood." I dont know if they are having that show again this year but if they are be sure and see that. If you want a halloween show, in the glassblowing theatre there is a guy that does the "tale tell heart" by edgar allen poe and he is really good at it. I always see those two shows.

dont bother

I went to the Snoopy on Ice show for my kids, and enjoyed it much more than I thought I would.
I agree with Brian. "Snoopy Rocks! on Ice" is a great show. The skaters are really, really talented -- it's amazing what they can do in such a small area of ice. Just because it's a Peanuts-themed show doesn't mean it's just for children; there are a variety of routines and music that appeal to adults, too. I definitely suggest seeing it -- my sister and I both thought it was great!

If you've never seen the Summer Spectacular, I suggest watching that as well -- just get there early so you have a good place to sit. That's almost always a requirement when I spend an evening in the park.

Red Garter seems to be their "premier" place for talent, as the last three or four years the show there has been top notch, winning industry awards. I'm interested to see what they go with this year in there.

The ice show is pretty good, even if it is somewhat kid-focused. They fill up pretty much every show.

Yes, Snoopy Rocks on Ice is a very good show. Plus, when it's hot outside and your tired, you can go and watch the show because it's nice and cold in there, plus it's dark so you might could catch a little nap.

Also Horray for Hollywood is a very good show....

Just check all of them out....

I highly recommend any show in the Centennial Theatre. Over the past few years they have been doing a Movie theme with "Movie's, Movie's, Movie's" and "Hooray For Hollywood" In my opinion, Centennial Theatre is the place for shows. During Halloweekends you can see Aaron Radatz perform in the Centennial Theatre. Aaron Radatz is a show you can not miss! Great illusions and a style that resembles David Copperfield (Aaron has worked with David in the past.)

Next I would say that "Snoopy Rocks on Ice" is a show not to miss!

They are all great shows, but those are the 3 that I would promote the most!

Movie shows are almost always great things to see. This past December, I was at Disneyworld and rode "The Great Movie Ride" several times at MGM Studios. It was a really well-done attraction. Even if CP cannot quite match up to "The Great Movie Ride," I still recomend seeing the new Star Struck.
