Show Reviews (Spoiler: GO SEE MIDNIGHT SYNDICATE!)

Yeah, a bunch of "dead" people walking around with zombie make-up looks like zombies to me and just about everyone else. What then, ghosts? And I know she wasn't singing in English; I was annoyed that her voice was so muffled under the music.

We really liked the Midnight Syndicate show on Friday night. I agree that while some of the video footage seemed random, I liked that the show told a story and loved the CP tie-in/stunt at the end of the show. I hope they bring them back to do a show each year.

We caught this show and the Edge of Madness, which I thought was a vast improvement over previous years. They have added live drums and guitars back into the show, which I think adds a TON. The guitar players and drummer were really good, and you could tell the vocalists were feeding off of the musicians' energy.

Wait, the theme isn't zombies? It sure seemed like Zombies to me. Anyway, yeah, the video clearly was influenced by The Ring.

My daughter and I absolutely loved it. She's 11 and very skittish when it comes to "scary " things. Hates scary movies. On top of that she hates storms and when the lightning and thunder fired up I was just sitting in my seat laughing. She rocked it out and thought this isn't to scary till the last couple minutes. She really dug the last couple minutes after she caught her breath.

On top of it we went after the show and talked with the guys from the group and they are genuinely nice guys. Told how much we enjoyed it and how much she loved it. Took a really nice pic that's her screensaver now. Had a really nice conversation and when it was time to take the pic they went right back into scary stare at the camera mode.

Best advice sit as close as you can to the aisles either on the entrance side or the exit side.

You guys make me even more anxious to check it out this weekend just because I want to see the last couple minutes of the show now.

Here's a great review of the show.

I saw the Midnight Syndicate - Live yesterday and it was excellent. Great addition to Halloweekends.

You can't see through zombies.

Unless they have big holes in them.

It's a cool concept, but it really wasn't my thing.

It's definitely a show that is outside of the box. I thought it kind of dragged before 'something' happened. My 8 year old son dug it, but I'm not taking my younger sons in it.

From the many times I've see it, around 7 or 8 seems to be the cut off age for people who get up and leave with their young ones.

I posted this in another thread as well, but does anyone know if the shows are still going on closing day? I'm hoping to be able to catch Midnight Syndicate again
