Should I visit on Labor Day?

Due to other plans I can't make my usual trek up to CP this year like I normally would.  However, found a deal on tickets to get up there for Labor Day.  Can someone tell me what to expect crowd-wise?  The site says it's not too bad, but I have seen our own park go crazy on that weekend.  Help!

It all depends on the weather, if it's nice it probably will be crowded.

My last Labor Dy visit was in '99. Maggie and PT had waits of an hour in the morning and afternoon. The rest of the park--dead. Raptor at sunset--dead.

I go to my local CF park (VF) almost every Labor Day (except '99) and it's dead, too.

Labor Day should be fine.

Don't know if this will help, but for years my favorite day to go was Thursday before Labor Day. VERY low crowds. I haven't been to CP on Labor Day for several years tho.

Thanks for the help. I've been sorting through old trip reports and it looks like it's not too bad. Putting up with a larger crowd than I am used to is better than having to skip a year.

I went sometime during the mid-nineties and just about everything had at least a 2 hour wait. Corkscrew have a wait of about half an hour.
