Should I get my season pass

Ok, so near the end of last season, I purchaced my season pass renewal certificates, I have them all sitting here. When I bought them, my best friend who also loves CP was going to be here (cleveland) next summer, now he's going to work at WoF . And I'm moving to Cincinatti. And I can't figure out if I should use the certificates or sell them to someone else. I'll probably only get to go 3 or four times next year. Any suggestions?

If you go 3 or more times to CP, your season pass has practically paid for itself... So I would suggest sending them in and getting your season pass...

Unlike any other tickets, season pass certificates are refundable as long as you do not process them. For example, I bought an extra parking pass last year that we decided we didn't need---refunded quickly, no problem.
Since you got them at the end of last season, they were cheap enough that they will actually pay for themselves in only two visits.

Not if you assume that you'll be buying tickets at a discount, say from AAA or similar. You could expect to pay about $34/visit that way.
Great point Brian. Sorry I wasn't thinking of that. There are a lot of ways to get discount tickets though I've never seen more than $10 off of a Funday Ticket, and usually those are only good for certain days of the week. Guess this just depends on when liebevision is planning to go and how much time he wants to put into getting discount tickets. Definitely would take 3 visits to pay for the season pass with discounts.

AAA typically has discounts right around $10 on good-any-day tickets. And, if you're going precisely two days during the season, by all means buy a ride-n-slide. Since we have combo passes, I usually buy ride-n-slides for people I bring to the park so that we can hit Soak City if we like, and I'm not breaking the bank by bringing a student/colleague along. AAA will usually give you a few dollars off on those, too.

Don't forget, if you ever travel you can visit other Cedar Fair parks and get in free with your CP season pass. These places are; Michigans Adventure, Knotts Berry Farm, Valleyfair, Worlds of Fun and Dorney Park.

But I would agree, if you plan on going more than twice to CP, keep the season pass. Besides, its not like your money isn't going to a great place!
