Shoot the Rapids" great choice for 2010

Well I was very dissipointed when White Water Landing was removed. It was a great water ride . I couldnt figure out why it was being removed? The ride always had a line and when you got on it , it was a really fun ride. Then the News Of Maverick was announced and then I figured out why Cedar Fair removed it.I was pleasantly surprised when I heard the news of Shoots" And I was very happy . A great location and a great track layout. the location is unique enough and I think that it will be a big hit with teens and familes I wish much success to the park and to its new water ride.

Well, i think that's why CP chose STR....because of that :)

And, no doubt, STR was already being planned as WWL was coming down, if not before.

Cedar Fair chose to remove White Water Landing. In return they got two state-of-the-art attractions. It was a great choice.

And got rid of a bangy, clangy, out-of-date attraction as well. :)
