If you look over at that GeaugaLakeToday site you can see them pretty much wanting the ride to fail. Sad...

That's not much of a surprise. At least they've helped me. The price of tin has gone up astronomically thanks to them.

Parker, stop trying to start a flame war between the sites, Most people from the other site don't want the ride to fail. They are talking about the obvious issues with the ride right now. It is not an opinion, it is a fact.

@jugga, I like my hat just fine, thank you. lol! there is nothing wrong with difference of opinions as long as they are discussed with the proper respect to the other person.

It is probably Intamin's fault going on Mavericks delay, Top Thrill Dragster's delay, Millenniums cable breaking; their only successful (not breaking) ride in the park made by Intamin in the last 10 years would be Wicked Twister. All four of Intamin's main attractions in the park (3 coaster + 1 water ride) have all either has excessive downtime, something broke on them, or maintenance issues.

In some parts it is Cedar Point's fault for not having the will power to use another designer/manufacturer.

Wicked Twister had its share of issues and still does. Speed reduced, LIMs removed, extra supports on the spikes, rewelding of the back spike almost every year, control room problems, etc.

And the cable wearing out isn't a fault. It's a known wear part that will eventually break. Like the brakes on your car.

If you call a handfull of people in the station a line...sure.

I am starting to think that maybe some of the problem is that people can't see the ride from the frontier trail very well. Just a idea.

Last edited by crazy horse,

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Or that the operations are so hit and miss, a line can never really form.

^^You really think it's THAT hard for guests to see an 85 ft brown lift and a deviation in the midway leading to it? :)

It seems really easy to see and judge the queue from a web cam image. I'd think it'd be easier in person. :)
