September/October Weekdays

Even I, as a past employee don't know the answer to this question, and perhaps it has already been answered. Does anyone know why Cedar Point only operates on weekends in Sept/Oct. I can see positives and negatives for being open/closed on the weekdays, and frankly the postives outweigh the negatives. Just a thought....

The summer vacation season is over. Kids (including the college ones) are back in school. Not as many people would come down during the week, and since the work force is almost entirely college kids, there would be no one to actually run anything.

John and John are right. HalloWeekends really is the draw. Without it, I think those weekends would have the same small turnout at the Bonus Weekends.
