Seats

I was wondering if people who come close with the seat belts this year since they have changed, could say if there are certain trains or certain parts of the train that you fit better in, i went two weeks ago and was able to get it buckled, but couldn't get any slack at all, i was so mad, so if anyone has any hints or better areas or trains to ride... i was on the yellow in the middle-ish. O yeah on Dragster I have a good inch or more everytime, pending where i sit, so i don't know. *** Edited 6/6/2005 11:45:57 PM UTC by cpcoasterfreak***

I'm not certain but I don't think any seat or train is different from the next. Like I said, I can't be 100% sure about that. Anyone else know?

I don't think there is any difference in the seats themselves, but the belts tend to be different lengths. This is what causes all of the problems of people fitting into the test seat and then not on the ride.

Cedar Point rocks my socks.

just go on the millenium force diet to fit.

Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.

I've got a diet. Dont go to Basking Robbins/ Dunkin' Donuts everyday.

i was just there on saturday, and after reading all about the new seats/seatbelts/problems fitting on here, i decided to study the seats in great detail while waiting in line. well, i noticed right away that there was a big difference in the seats themselves. (at least i'm 90% sure there is!) i looked at where the seatbelt is mounted to the seat (since a lot of people said the mounting point was different) and i looked at how it was all attached to the seat. well, its bolted into the "armrest" part of the seat. from looking at this piece of the seat, and comparing it to the rest, it looked brand spanking new. first off, its shiny metal, not painted like they used to be (right?). check out the test seat and the pictures in the gallery of the trains going by on the track. http://www.pointbuzz.com/Gallery.aspx?i=1094 all of the "armrests" appear to be painted that light blue color. but, the ones on all of the trains are now chrome. so, that would say to me that they are either higher (to prevent someone from squeezing out between the armrest and the lap bar) or just new to have the modified seat belt mounting point on them. but, to me at least, that entire piece of the seat is new. oh yeah, the padding on the "armrest" also looks completely new when you compare it to the back of the seat and the lap bar rubber. with sweaty arms on them all the time, there's no way they could look that good after five seasons of use.

thoughts??

I sat almost in the back of the train in i believe to be the blue car if memory serves me right, and like you i could get it snapped but no if any slack at all. i have heard of diffrent lenghts in the seat belts but i cant say that is true because i have yet to ride up front this season. as for the seats i would think they are all the same minus the "stadium" set up.
