Lots of room, even for me (Im 6'7"), also saw some larger folks get on fine as well. The only problem I could see happening is if you had a rather large gut, thats about it.... also. It may have been from the three straight rides, but I did get some superficial bruises (sorta looks like a hickey ;)) on my shoulders. They dont hurt though, haha

I saw some people get kicked out for being too big. As always, use the test seat.
They're comfy. I like these restraints, as far as shoulder harnesses go.
1,146 rides on Raptor. Three rides in 2009.
Well I got to sit in one of the seats for a good 30 minutes while we did three cycles for the red cross bid's. 10 minutes of that was sitting on a block in the rain since a train rolled back in the Launch Tunnel... not once did I feel uncomfortable.

Yeah, I encountered the same. 3 times in a row was amazing and no discomfort at all except for the rain.

I'm 6' 2", the seats and retraints were comfy enough for me. :)

I have some bruising on my shoulders from Maverick. I thought it might have been Ripcord which I did yesterday, but I'm pretty sure it's from Maverick.
I also have bruising on my shoulders from Maverick, and that's the only ride I rode yesterday at the park. The bruises are are on the front of my shoulders, right above my armpits. It's the only ride that's given me any type of bruising as far as I can remember.

I rode Maverick 3 times yesterday, and I found that it is a much more enjoyable ride if you keep your hands down. My first ride I kept my hands up the entire time and the OTSRs did beat me around a bit. My second and third ride I rode with my hands down and found it to be much more comfortable. As for the seats, they are some of the most comfortable seats on any ride in the park!!!!
The bruising doesn't sound all that positive... Although thanks for the advice on keeping your hands down.
Thrills Around the Corner!
Ahh, all three rides yesterday on Maverick I had my hands up pretty much the entire time. I didn't feel uncomfortable while riding, but now that I think about it, the tops of my arms/shoulders were rubbing against the restraints as a result of having my hands up. I bet that's why I got the bruises. It'll be tough to keep my hands down since I pretty much have them up all the time on most of the coasters. :D

I'm 6'5 and had my hands up the whole ride both mornings in the front car and noticed more of a red mark than a bruise on my shoulders, doesn't really hurt though. Either way the ride is worth it! *** Edited 5/27/2007 8:33:57 PM UTC by All Wet***
I rode yesterday morning, and this morning. I notice my neck was getting bumped by the OTSR's. I did not get any bruising though. I was riding with my hands up. I was pretty comfy.
I am 6' even. And 255lbs. I can get about 3 inches of slack out of Dragsters belt. 2 inches out of millies. And 4 inches out of mavi's. And there is a stitched one inch line on the belt. It is the same double lock belt that is on Millie, Dragster, Drop zone. And countless other Intamins.
Peace, Mikey
I am only two inches taller and 10 pounds heaiver.I could not fit in to Dragster or Millie.
Any suggestions?
I was at Kings Island today and this guy who was a solid 350 said he can ride TTD and Millie..
I hope I can fit this time!
I also have bruising and moderate pain on my shoulders near my neck. This is probably because I am 6'5" and my shoulders are closer to the top of the restraint. I can't complain though; the ride is very ballsy and is simply outstanding.

What's a ballsy?

Ride on, MrScott!
I spoke with several people today while in line for Maverick and they also had bruises from previous rides (one person was even kind enough to show me without any prompting.. LOL) So this appears to be fairly common--especially for people who raise their arms up..

I didnt get any brusises, but when me and my friends rode the lap bar part of the restranints jammed down on our legs to a point where it hurt, and we couldnt move our legs. I was just wondering if anyone else had this occure. (It wasn't as bad when we kept our hands down, but it did really hurt going over the bunny hill(s).
