Seatbelt tricks for the twist...

Is there any tricks for getting the belt to fasten on Wtwister?? I went a couple years back and could always get the buckle to the belt but could never get it to buckle.. Granted now I am bigger and proabbly have a very limited chance of fitting just wondering if any of you knew any ways to get it to buckle easier...

Also when did they add the second belt buckle clip thing ??

2nd one has always been there I think. Try using the top one, should be easier for you to buckle.

I really don't want to be rude in this particular instance, so I'm really trying, but I'm going to be blunt.

You have made a ton of threads/posts about not fitting in the rides, including the quest to ride one which you keep alive to this day. I think everything could/should be kept to that one thread.

Quite honestly I don't see a reason for so many different threads, when I would rather see some more interesting stuff.

I don't want to say I don't care, because I have offered my fitness advice, but its like the boy who cried wolf over and over again until everyone eventually ignored him.

There's a better way, my friend.

I agree. Considering you've been lucky enough to keep Jeff or Walt from closing all of these threads, I wouldn't tempt fate any more. Personaly, I think even your original thread has expanded to the point of being material more suited for a "MySpace" blog.

Okay, guys. Josh isn't threatening to call Kinzel if he doesn't fit on Wicked Twister, so let's not jump down his throat right away on this one.

I was told in '03 by the WT entrance/testseat attendant that WT had the smallest restraints of any coaster at CP. When I lost enough weight to BARELY fit on V2 at SFGAm in '04 this is the advice I was given - pull the OTSR as far down/in as you can with your hands on the metal grabhandles, then push DOWN from the very top right above your shoulders to get the harness as far as you can get it. This only will get you 1cm or so farther down. If the buckle of the harness doesn't already reach the latch channel on the seat forget even trying this trick.

I couldn't fit on the Intamin impulse coasters until I got my weight below 245. Granted I am a burly guy with broad shoulders, but I fit on B&M coasters at about 265-270. This is just the way it is, Josh. It REALLY IS worth the effort to lose the weight, so keep your eyes on the goal and make it happen:)

The only reason I posted this was due to the fact that there are tricks related to MF that some people do not know. Such as pulling the slack before trying to buckle.. I was just wonderin if people had little tricks in order to make it work..... Sorry if these threads offend anybody just trying to make a contribution to the site to get something to chat about...

WT is a little bit harder to have any "tricks" as the belt is in a fixed position. I always just pull the harness down as fast as I can and hope that will get it to squish me in enough to get it buckled. Not sure if doing that really helps anything, but I haven't had a problem with getting buckled yet. *knocks on wood*

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

I used to have 2 friends help me, before I lost a bit. One would push down on the harness as hard as possible and the other one would buckle the seat belt.

Which part, Jugga, which part?

Yeah, I've had to have people help me get it buckled on WT this year. It's a pretty big eye opener to get on a treadmill. :)
