Seat Size

Forgive me if this topic has been addressed recently.

I was wondering if people of larger stature are having problems fitting into Maverick's seats.

Has this problem been corrected with MillenniumForce or does it continue to hinder those who want to ride safely but have larger builds?

I don't consider myself morbidly obese at 6'0" and 245 lbs. and have ridden Millennium many times in the past.

I will be visiting Cedar Point in the next few weeks and hope that I will be able to ride these coasters.

If you are able to ride Millennium, at your height, you will definitely be able to ride Maverick.

I'm 6ft 2inches and can fit into the Maverick cars without any proublems at all. I'm not sure about how heavy I am though...

1) Millennium Force
2) Maverick
3) Raptor
4) Shivering Tembers
5) Magnum xl 200

After riding Maverick last wek, I would say the seats are more roomy than MF, TTD, and WT. The seat size is probably closest to Raptor.

In general, Maverick is probably the most accommodating of the rides where larger guests have problems. Much more so than Raptor, but perhaps not quite as much as Power Tower. If you can ride maXair, Raptor, Wicked Twister, or Corkscrew, you'll likely be more than fine on Maverick.

i was there last week and i liked about a inch riding milli but had plenty of room on maverick. it really does depend on how you are built. i am not " overweight" really, but i have a pudge, ( thank you kids). but on maverick you are really strapped in good and tight.
