In the big picture of things crowd can be a fun position to work like on Raptor, Magnum or Mean Streak, I've had a countless number of awesome conversations and interactions with friends, guests, and employees at the crowd posistion. At the same time working crowd at a ride like Twister or Force is tough because you have to police the entire station, sometimes break up groups and search for single riders or groups of two only.
I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.
I know this topic is from March second of this year but I wanted to bring it back again. Every year that I've gone on Millennium Force, they have always had someone working crowd control. This year it seems like they have been letting it go somewhat. Different times during the day they could be letting the station get crowded, or doing a 1 or 2 train load in the station at a time. For Millennium Force, I really enjoy how they handle crowd control. I can also understand why they do this most of the time. The station is really too small to be letting a full station through.
I really hate it when you want to go to the back and there are people waiting for the front and clog up the way. My brother thinks that we have to stay and wait but I just go.
Oh, and I'm talking about rides at GADV like El Toro. They let certain amount of people in at a time but it is still a bit crowded. All the GP sits near the front like idiots. The back I can get on 2 or 3 trains sooner for a better ride. I really hate crowded stations.

Yeah, I remember when I went on it last they had to release the lap bar about 3 times because people were having issuses.
You see, that's what they need to do For Millennium Force. I really hope this year in 2007, they have more people working the ride. I love it when they only let like maybe one train load in at a time. I think they should do the same for Maverick this year.
That's why Disney's lines move so fast. If you notice, they do this on practically every ride/attraction in their parks. If you ask for a specific row, they'll usually just give it to you. But, for the most part, people don't care where they sit. And, when given a choice, they waffle and hold up the line. I say assign people rows except for the first and last (unless its empty).
