seasonpases miled for all-Ohio

They did get all new equipment in the season pass center. It seems like they should be able to get people through a bit faster than they used to.

Yeah, it was all new equipment. I think they went for quantity more than quality on the passes. I dont mind it, but the picture quality could have been better.....but oh well, Im not going to cry about it.
CoasterCrazy, what time were you at the center? I had brought my buttons just incase I ran into someone, but there was like nobody there! I was soooo tempted to go down Perimeter road too.....but my respect for following Cedar Points rules got the better of me.:)

Uh... I think I was there around 5:40 ish... I know I saw someone with a Dragster Sweatshirt starting to walk up to the passes behind us, but I didn't know who it was.

What does the All-Ohio look like on the pass? I just received mine in the mail and there is nothing on the pass to say that we have the All-Ohio (I included the extra$25 when I sent in my parking pass). In the envelope was a letter saying that the CP parking and All-Ohio was encoded in the barcode on the pass itself. I called CP and she also said it was encoded. She told me she could not look up it up by the season pass number and she was sure everything was fine. Help?!?!

I got my pass on Tuesday, and it has OP on the pass, just under my picture. On the back of the pass it states that either "P" or "OP" should be on the pass if parking is included.

Mine has a little "OP" under the picture for the parking. On the back it says the pass will either have a P for Cedar Point parking or an OP for all Ohio parking.

thanks-they put it on the wrong pass (mine instead of hubbies)-also I should have read the back of the pass. Just assumed it would have the big "P" on it like last year or as we had PP (for G. Lake) which my 8 year old son just loved.

FYI heres what the symbols mean:

OP right below picture: Ohio Parking
MX right of center: Maxx Pass
MX+ right of center: Maxx + Pass
JC more right then MX/MX+=Joe Cool

We got our passes today and there is no P on either one of them, and we sent our parking pass in with the others. Again, the letter said it was encoded into the bar code, but the back said there should be a P, it is just CP parking not all Ohio, do I need to call them or is it fine?

I questioned that when I was at the season pass center this afternoon at about 1:00 pm (only saw three other groups there - there were more season pass employees there then guests). The guy handing out the printed passes said the parking was in the barcode and not marked on the front.

ok, thanks for clearing that up krafty.

I got my pass in the mail yesterday (Saturday) and I agree with what everyone said about the quality of print on the passes. It almost looks like their printer was running low on ink or printing in draft mode. My pass had the MX, JC and OP on the front.

So, Ohio parking is a symbol on the front (and maybe the barcode too), but CP parking is only in the bar code?

I don't have a little "P" symbol, but I only have CP parking. I guess we'll find out when we get there.

Just an update for those of you with Maxx Passes from parks outside of Ohio. I asked if I could get an All-Ohio Parking Pass with a Maxx Pass from Canada's Wonderland, this is the response I received...

"I am sorry to say that the answer is no. The all Ohio parking pass can only be included on a season pass ID issued from one of the Ohio parks."

I was at KI today and my pass would not scan at the toll gate, but they let me by anyway. It did scan at the gate with no problem. After running into about 20 ACE'rs I found out some people's work and others don't. Best guess I could come up with is the most recently aquired passes, may not have been entered into the system yet. Not sure. It was great not having to go to Guest Relations for a change. :)

When I was at KI they just looked at the pass, no scanning for either parking or at the gate. The bar codes are different on the CP passes this year (there are 10 digits instead of 8) I'm still convinced the CP bar code system is different from KI's system.

Regardless of wether the bar code is different, they are scanning cp maxx and maxx+ passes at the toll booth and turnstyle. Some are working some are not.
