Season Passes

Is it true what everyone is telling me that if I buy a seaon pass the lines will be crazy? If I were to buy a season pass on a weekday would the lines be shorter or...can you do what Six Flags does...Buy a season pass go to the park then later when you leave go to processing and get your picture taken? Sorry if this is in the wrong place I just wanna know a quick answer.
Typically, week days are less crowded, especially before the schools let out, and thus you can expect less people showing up to get their passes. I'd recommend, if it is possible, to attend the Season Pass office and get everything squared away before the park opens. Cedar Point's season pass office does not operate in the way you described above.

I waited **2 HOURS** on a weeked ****A FEW WEEKS BEFORE THE PARK OPENED!!!**** on more than 1 occasion. This year, I renewed by mail.

In another thread, you mentioned your trip would be in late June. I wouldn't expect the season pass line to be long then. If you are coming early in the season, though, be prepared for a wait.
In '02 the opening day lines were so long my boyfriend and I just bought tickets and went into the park. Later when we went to get our passes we told them what happened and they reimbursed our money. Good old CP.

'04 Enjoying the park!

I went the first Friday the pass center was open and was one of about 4 people there...of course this was about 11:30 a.m. and virtually everybody was either in school or at work. Last year I went later during a weekday and waited about 30 minutes.

Waited almost ten minutes today. Got there at opening at 11.

Picked up our passes today around 1:00pm and only waited maybe 10 minutes. Then took a drive around the new camper village addition, very nice.

Does anyone know if my brother buys a one day tickets, can he come back later and have that price applied to a season pass (provided he does it the same day the ticket is for)? Thanks,

John

Just learned this last week. You can buy your pass at any Cedar Fairs park and just use it @ The Point. I'm picking mine up @ Michigan's Adventure and for $10 less! Check it out.

Just a quick question. Since we will have an extra ticket I will be using it so I can get in earlier. If I go to the season pass office right near closing will the lines be better than if I went in the middle of the day? Thanks.

For those who don't know-
Tops Markets on Milan Rd. sells season passes for $89- $10 off from the season pass center- and will be selling them throught the season.

They start selling the passes at 8am.

So does Meijer and AAA, if those places are more convenient.

Meijer's and AAA sell season passes? I know they sell one and two-day tickets, but I've never heard of them selling passes, or do they sell the vouchers and you still have to go to the park to get the pass.

Thanks,

John

You get the certificate, just like at Tops. No matter what, you need to go to the Season Pass Center to get your pass (unless you're a previous year passholder - then you can do it by mail).

This is the first season pass experience for me and will be heading up probably next weekend to get them (purchased them for AAA). I'm just wondering how long of a wait should I expect on the 2nd opening weekend (probably going on a Sunday). I would really appreciate it. Thx.
I have another question my cousin is coming to cedar point with us and she has a military card because her husband is in the Navy...anyway I see that there's a discount for entry prices I was just wondering if there is always a special price for season passes/
