Season Passes

Hey, I'm getting a season pass on Friday. How long does it take to pay and if they take your picture, how long does it take to process it? Should i just go and get it Thursday night? I'm planning on getting there early friday morning and sprinting to TTD...so would there be time?

If it's less than an hour drive for you, I'd go the night before.

If you go early, it shouldn't take too long. Last year I went at the beginning of the season and it took maybe 15 minutes total to get my picture taken and my pass. There was a line too. I wouldn't waist a trip, just get there early. By the way, if you want to get on the dragster early, park in the Soak City parking lot. You'll thank me later.

We usually do ours through the mail, so can't help you there. I can say though that (with the exception of opening day >< ) it doesn't seem like too much of a line... I'd suggest night before though, just to ensure hat early TTD run (nothin like being on one of the first of the day... :) ). *** Edited 7/20/2005 10:05:08 PM UTC by GeeForce***

You better get it the night beofer because if you want to sprint to Dragster. The season pass center doesnt open untill 10 so you better get it the night before if you want to do the running of the bulls.

Especially if you are going to take the advise above and enter the back of the park. The Season Pass Center is at the FRONT of the park.

By mid-July the wait for season pass processing should be minimal, no where near what it is during the first few weeks of operation. Of course crowds will vary by day, but you shouldnt have a problem. The Season Pass Center opens earlier than the park, so if you get there early you could have your pass before the gates even open.

A few years back, (2001 maybe?) didn't Cedar Point offer a discounted Season Pass later in the season? I could swear that I remember them doing a $50 pass in July/August-ish.
