Season Passes 2002

Heres a question:

If I get a CP season pass, will it work for locations like Michigans Adventure and other parks in the CF family?  I only ask because im thinking of getting one, and im looking for any added benefits besides getting into CP.

I used my pass this year to go to Michigan's Adventure. Only deal is we had to go to the regular ticket booth to show our pass and get a ticket. Couldn't just show the CP pass and walk in.

I used my CP pass at Michigan's Adventure and Dorney this year, the usual drill being to stop at guest relations and get a ticket.

If you're close to MA, or any other Cedar Fair park other than Knott's, you might be better off getting a pass at that park because it will be cheaper. Just understand that you have to redeem the pass at the park you bought if from. I believe Duane gets Dorney passes every year for his family and goes to CP, right Duane?

im right outside of detroit, so CP is like 15 closer or so. :p  besides, id probably do more trips to CP than MA... (like today for example. ;) )

It looks like CP's and MA's season pass are the same price until 31 Oct 2001.  I am probably going to by passes for CP rather than MA, even though I live significantly close to MA than CP.  This gives me an excuse to go to CP early in the season.  We'll have to get the passes processed at CP before we can use them at MA.  Typically, CP opens a couple weeks before MA.

I'm pretty sure MA will open earlier under CF, at least I hope so. There will always be hassle at the other CF parks (recalls the scene at CP this year "Oh, MIA, do they have any good coasters, that's such a nice little park" meanwhile my friends are a mile ahead of me)..sigh, they should just come up with a universal CF pass.
