I just noticed on CP's website that season passes this year, it says "ALL SALES FINAL, NO REFUNDS". What is up with that? In the past, i know from experience, if you didn't process your pass you could return it by July 31 for a full refund. Is Cedar Fair hurting for money THAT much?
Also It say sthat passess must be processed at the park which they were purchased. I guess Cedar Fair hasn't worked the bugs out of that system yet? We had a hell of a time last year with processing at King's Dominion with our Cedar Point pass vouchers.
Iknow I had a hard time processing my pass at Cedarpoint that I had bought the voucher at Geauga Lake. But I didn't know what to do with the ride mess. I know I bought them from Cedarpoint this year to avoid the mess. I hope that they have their processing time before Kings Island opens. we are trying to head down in April to check out the new coaster!

The no refunds thing definitely sounds like crap. I bought a 2008 pass before I knew I would be working at the park in 2008, and it was easy to get a refund on it. I can't really imagine why they would need a no returns policy.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you

I called the Season Pass Center and they said that employees can get a full refund as long as the season pass is not processed.
If hired, do the employee ID's get you into all CF parks?
^ yes, your Id acts as a season pass for all cedar Fair Parks. This summer im taking a trip to Kotts, and saving $60 a ticket. Its nice.

I am planning to hit either Dorney park or Knotts this year! We are working on our vacation plans. I am making plans to hit Kings Island in April. Does anyone knoe when we will be able to process our passes? I hope it is before Kings Island opens.

I wish CF employees could get in an hour early like the platinums because there is no way I'm paying 150 dollars just to get in an hour early and join pointperks when I get in free.

I don't blame you about that! They should let you get in for free on your day off!

My bad I was actually asking the question about if CF* (non-Cedarpoint) employees can get in an hour early like the pass holders. Sorry for the confusion.

Employees can get in early. Employees can get in anytime. I've never heard anything frowning upon it. I occasionally would go ride Millennium or Maverick a time or two before work.

Hahahahahaha. Or Single Rider might knock you over and break your leg. ;)

I assume that I will be working at Geauga Lake next season but it is not clearly stated anywhere that a Cedar Fair employee can get early admission to another Cedar Fair park (Cedar Point) being an employee of Wildwater Kingdom

Employees can enter the park well before pass holders are allowed in, but im not sure about early entry for people who work for other parks. I did it once or twice before having to come in at 11:30. I'm usually nice enough to let the first guests that get to the ride entrance in front of me before I make my way in. It was also nice because some of my friends would visit and I could enter the park with them if they had early entry just to get a few rides in before going to work. Now I don't have as much of chance to do this now that I will be working an ERT ride, but I would hope that there are some employees out there with some common decency to let the firsts guests get the good seats.
