Season pass (valleyfair/cedarpoint

I live in Minnesota and I'm considering buying a season pass for the CedarFair parks and I can't decide what to do.

I'm planning on going to CedarPoint once this summer (probably for 2-3days in a row.)

1. Buy a Valleyfair seasonpass @ $80 and go to VF few times this summer. (u can't really compare cedarpoint to valley fair)
2. Buy a CedarPoint seasonpass for $100 and use it at Valleyfair AND get the Joe Cool Club thing for when I got to cedarpoint.

Question: Can I buy a ValleyFair season pass and get the Joe Cool Club and use it at CedarPoint??

There's a thing we found out on our last trip. Our MiAdv passes are just like having JC. My sister (CP pass) and a friend (MA pass) went to get in early and forgot that I had the resort ID. Maggie (the friend) was able to get in, but had to wait until 10 because my sister couldn't get in.

You're better off just getting the VF pass. On top of that, stay at LHP or another on point resort.

Raptor Rocks I would buy the season pass at Valleyfair w/o the Joe Cool club and save yourself around $35. Plus by staying at one of the resorts you will be able to get in earlier as a resort guest.

I use to live in Minnesota just outside of Minneapolis, actually about a 15 miinute drive to Valleyfair. I haven't been back to the park since I moved in '91, but I have been to Camp Snoopy at the Mall.
