Season Pass Sales

This is only my third time buying CP season passes. I wanted to know if they have any other discounts besides the ones when the season passes just go on sale. I heard that they have some discounts around christmas. I'm planning to buy season passes soon. I just wanted to know if there will be anymore discounts. on season passes, Parking passes, Joe cool..etc.

You can get discounted pass certificates at most Meijer stores, and I believe Tops stores in Cleveland, although I don't live there. I also believe AAA has them discounted.

Your best bet is to order online as soon as possible. The best savings were already had before November 15 with the passes going for $79 and parking passes for $30 ($50 now). They were also giving away Joe Cool Club memberships if you purchased a combo pass. Even if they do have them on sale at Tops or Meijers again, it probably won't be cheaper than $89. I believe the parking pass is going up to $60 eventually too.

How long does it usually take to get your pass through the mail? I ordered mine about two weeks ago and have not gotten it yet. Is this how long it usually takes?

Ordered mine Nov. 14, and I just received the certificates. I'm sending those in the mail today with last year's season pass info. When I receive the actual pass, I'll post.

TekGuy, In the fall when I renewed my pass at the park, they told me not to send mine in until January.You may not receive it back right away but let us know.

I was holding out hope that I might find some way find to get to KBF before next season to check out Xcelerator, I should give up on that thought tho... I am so busy at work. I just don't really have the time to get to CA. Oh well, I know that I have CP for next year. :)

Is The Joe cool Club included with the combo passes?

Because it says that joe cool isnt available with Combo passes. I only purchased Season passes before. Never got Combo's

If you look at the Cedar Point website, the season pass section explains that the fee to join the Joe Cool Club is $15 per person. (In case you don't know, Joe Cool is different than a parking pass and does not get you a free parking pass -- you have to buy the parking pass separately). You can read about the benefits of joining the Joe Cool Club on the website.

Both regular and Combo passholders can get Joe Cool on their pass. You may have read the section where it says "Junior regular or Combo passholders" cannot have the Joe Cool Club attached to their pass. This is referring to Junior Combo passholders, not all Combo passholders in general.

Thanks...I Knew that Joe cool doesnt include the parking pass. Because everybody would just get joe cool and not the parking pass lol.

I called CP, The said that Joe cool is not included with the combo pass now. :(

Guess i gotta go All out and buy everything. Parking pass, Combo pass, And Joe cool.

O well, still worth it. Already Preparing for Road Trip CP...2003. NYC - CP

7 days -- 1180 miles (Both ways) Cant Wait.

They didn't put a note stating when to send them, so I just sent them as soon as I received them. No way to get them back now... umm... unless I didn't put enough postage or something. That would be most embarassing.

When I do receive my pass, I'll hunt down this thread and post to that fact.
