Season Pass Question

This will be my first year buying a season pass.

The website pretty much clarifies everything I am curious about, minus a few things, which will probably make me sound a little stupid asking.

If I order my passes online, which I plan on doing do they mail me a packet of papers to fill out and bring in when I go for the photo I.D?

I'm not really clear on what's happening once I buy them I guess.

Also, we are planning on a opening day trip, depending on the weather that is, can I expect a huge wait time on getting my I.D. processed or is it even possible to get it same day.

I'm a little confused on a few things. Just need some clarifications.

Thanks guys.

Since it's a brand new pass you will have to bring your paperwork to the office before you are able to use it. If you decide to do everything on opening day and yes you will be waiting awhile before getting into the park. I believe you can do it before the park opens on the 7th(but don't quote me on that)

You'll get the forms in the mail (or print them if you choose to do it that way). You then take those to the season pass office, get your picture taken, they print up your ID. I would suggest not getting your pass processed at the office on opening day, the line is usually the longest in the park. They open later this week (I think, someone else may want to clarify that) to start processing passes. You should go before opening day if you are able.

Yes, you can. I think the Season Pass is open now (9a-5p, I would imagine). MiAdv is, I got mine there last Thursday. A lot of sawing and hammering was going on Timbers--mainly in the helix.

Punky: I'm in the same boat as you. This is my first year having a season pass, and I'm going opening day. The problem is, I live 700 miles away and won't be able to get there a day ahead to get the processing done because of college.

I plan on getting there VERY early in the morning though to get a good spot in the processing line. Hopefully that will work, and hopefully I can get my pass processed early enough in the morning to make use of the JCC I bought.

...and I anxiously await the arrival of my pass. I mailed it 2 weeks ago or so. I probably won't get to get it out of the mailbox upon arrival. (I'm willing to bet it arrives next week when I'm in Atltanta for 5 days).

I've had a pass the last 4 year, opening day is the worst time to get your pass processed. I did that the first year. BIG mistake! I go like two weeks early every year now, there is no line and if u have a parking pass you can use it the first day to!

Just a question, If I have my printed parking pass certificate, will I be able to get free parking on opening day, even though it isn't "processed" yet?

Yeah. You will have to pay the $9 parking. They will refund your money when they process your pass at the season pass center.

Or, if you plan on getting the sticker on your car, go to the far left tollbooth. They will flag you over into the parking lot across from the tollbooth, and they will put a sticker on your car.

Awesome, my parking pass will be on my ID though. I just hope that I can get there early enough to get a very good spot in the pass processing line!

Does the parking pass automatically come with a Season Pass, or do you have to upgrade to something (i.e. Joe Cool Pass) ?

It's $40 extra to get the parking pass I believe. ;)

If you purchase a season pass, that's what you get. A season pass.

You must purchase a parking pass seperately. Purchasing a Joe Cool membership does NOT include a parking pass (clearly says so on the CP website, actually).
