Season Pass Question

Hey Guys!

I just went to CP this past Sunday, and paid for a regular admission ticket (with Pepsi can discount). Now, I'm thinking I could probably get use out of a Season Pass. I still have the reciepts for the ticket I bought and I'm wondering if there is any way I can credit that towards buying a season pass? (Like, instead of paying $99, can I take 33.95 off?)

Just curious!

Sorry to inform you that this might not be possible. Last Sunday the wait to process the pass was three hours and when I checked in to Breakers, my friend asked the same question. She hoped to avoid waiting that long bc we were staying until Thursday. The hotel clerk said yes. The park said no way. She had to call park ops and speak to a boss there and she was only then able to apply the credit. Big, big hassle...

It may just be a matter of who you speak with and what kind of mood they are in. I was with some friends who ran into that same 3 hour line on that same Sunday. With confirmation from a park employee that this was OK, they ended up buying Starlight tickets for the evening, came back Monday morning with the receipts and got everything refunded to them. (And waited 20 minutes instead of 3 hours.)

As for myself, I thought we might spend Sunday and Monday in the park, so I was planning to buy a starlight for Sunday and a full day for Monday. But when my season-pass holding friends decided we were going Tuesday as well, I headed for the season pass office. I had my receipts for Sunday and Monday, explained that my plans had changed and that I now was interested in a season pass. She took my receipts and gave me credit for the previous two days. It was really easy; no questions asked. I was VERY grateful CP did this so easily for me.

I wonder if they'd do this for a parking pass too? ;)

I think I'll end up paying more for parking than if I had just gotten the parking pass. Oh well.

A couple of my friends attempted to do the same thing (they didn't want to wait in line). It worked perfectly. They even waited a week to get their passes. The "rule" is 24 hrs, but I think it is on a person to person basis.

I have been working extensively in the season pass office. Here is what I understand to be good to go. These are 'the rules' as long as the person in charge follows them:

-If you have your season pass certificate (the piece of paper), then you can keep that with you, buy ONE ticket, and have ONE ticket refunded, if you bring your receipt with you when you turn your certificate into the front window of the Season Pass office.

-You are only allowed one ticket to be refunded.

-It doesn't have to be the same day; it can be a month later, and as long as you still have your receipt, just bring it in with your certificate.

-If you have already turned in your certificate, received the piece of cardstock with a date stamp, and THEN decide to buy a ticket (to avoid the picture line), then you MUST bring the receipt back THAT DAY. That is the only case where it has to be the same day.

-If you have any questions, just go up to the windows at the season pass center or call. They are more than happy when people ask for explanations and don't just gripe.

Ross: Do you have a minute? I’d like to talk to you about something I’m, I’m really uncomfortable talking about.

Joey: Sure. What? About uh, you showering with your mom?

Ross: I actually had a topic in mind!
