Thinking about getting a season pass for my family this year. Question is, will we be able to use the pass for the kid's friends as well. We've got 3 kids and am wondering if one of the kids could bring two friends and let them use the season pass while my other kids stay home. Do they have some age verification process or ID process which won't allow you to do this? Thank you.
No, they take your picture and a picture of you comes up on a screen when you enter the gate. They verify who you are and if in fact it is you using your pass. You and only you can use your pass.
And to add on, you can't buy a "Family" pass that would allow for everyone in your family to be admitted by a single pass. You have to buy individual passes for each person.
I am planning on getting to the Point for opening day. I will have to renew my Platinum pass, but will not be getting to the park until it's opening and would like to beat the crowd in. Does anybody know of the season pass center will be opening before 9am on the 10th?
Since it is opening day, it will probably be open before 9:00 AM as it has been so in the past. Even if it opens at 9:00, the new layout and added space really makes the process move much quicker.
No it is not.

No it is still closed. They will make a announcement when it opens.
If I remember usually around mid April or there about.
Can't the season pass still be renewed online? That's what I did for this season or do we have to go to the pass center for new pics before we can get in?
Look into renewing online.
I live in Columbus so I have a platinum pass, usually thru KI since they open first. In the past I've been able to renew my pass online and I didn't even have to go. Last fall I was at CP and renewed there to get the end of season rate. They just continued my same card to the new year, so I didn't have to process- I just paid the money and I'm good to go for spring at either park.
I'm not sure how it works if you have a one-park-only kind of pass, but hope this might help save you the worry about the center. If you're the type that needs a new card in his hand each year then, unfortunately, you'll be stuck waiting in line.
