Season Pass Processing

I'm getting season passes for the first time this season. I won't be able to get it processed before the park opens, so I'll have to do it on regular hours when I go my first time. How long are the lines at the pass office when you get it processed and how long does it take for your pass and everything to be ready? Do you get your new pass that day, or do they mail it to you? I don't want to spend half the day getting this done and then only have limited time at the park. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It all depends on the day that you go. If you go opening day then the line will probably be really long. If you go during a week day, then the line may be short. No one can say for sure, just like the lines for the rides.

From paying for your pass to filling out the form and getting your picture taken, it takes about 20 minutes maybe. Then it usualy takes like 5-10 minutes for them to bring you your pass. Yes, you get your pass right then and there.

When I went on Wednesday the whole process, getting the pic and waiting for the pass was about 5 min. But then the lines were really long so it ended up being and hour to do the whole thing

Thanks for the responses. I'm relieved to hear that it doesn't take very long. See you all at the point.

Now, just to make sure you understand, the process doesn't take long, but the lines can be very long. 2 years ago, I was still living in Cincinnati, so I had to get mine processed on Opening day. I got in the parking lot around 9 am, and I finally got in the park at noon. And by the time the gates officially opened, the line was about twice as long as it was when I got in line.

In other words, don't be surprised if the whole ordeal takes a couple hours or more. Only the processing takes 5-10 minutes...

I wonder what time I will be able to get in line to get a season pass on opening day. I would like to get a spot in line early, so I dont have to wait 10 years to get my pass.
Word of advice: try not to have your picture taken with the camera on the far right, (as you enter the SP center from the back). It has a tendency of backing up, and causing extra long waits...
