Question- I will be making my first trip to the Point on Wednesday, May 21. Half of our party will have early entry tickets from Hotel Breaks, and the other half have platinum passes. We are driving from New York. Is there any way to get the passes processed early so that we can use our early entry?
Remember, it's nice to be important- but it's more important to be nice.
As far as I'm aware, the processing center is only open during park hours. So unless you were there a day early, then no.
The Season Pass Center opens at 9:00AM every day, so you'll have to sacrifice some morning ERT to get your pass processed on 21-May.
They stay open until 8:00PM on 20-May, so if you have the opportunity, you can get them processed the night before.

Typically how long does it take to get the passes processed?

That all depends on the line. The last time I did mine there was no line, and I was in and out in under 5 minutes.
I can't imagine you'd have to wait long if you're in line at the Season Pass Center 10 minutes before it opens ... especially on a weekday early in the season.
We have the same issue- the hard part about staying at the Breakers is we'll have to drop off my brother at the front gate so he can process his pass and we have to drive around to the Breakers to buy our tickets. He bought his pass online already to get it cheaper.
Last year my mom and dad decided right before we went to the park to get a season pass but waited and bought tickets from the Breakers, we rode all morning for the early ride time and then went and applied what they paid towards their season pass. It didn't take very long at all (a Friday in May) we rode the carousel while we waited for them.
Some years I have no wait at all, others a few minutes. The longest with the new season pass center was a bit over an hour wait.
Do you already have Platinum Passes from last season? If so, you can renew those on CP's website - you just need the long #'s on the back of your current pass to renew - this is how I've renewed by season passes the past couple years, it is nice it not only saves you time, but they also have a 6 month payment plan to break up payments if you desire.
