Season Pass Preview Night and Dining Plan

Does anyone know if you will be able to use your dining plan at the Season Pass Preview Night.

The dining plan was honored at Carowinds preview night. So, assuming CF is following the same policies yes.

However, Carowinds had the entire park open for 6 hours on preview night, this is select rides for 3 hours. Who knows what food stands, if any will be open. Of course, why pass up a chance to sell people some food and gifts.

This is what is posted on Cedar Point's website about Preview Night:

Food and merchandise are not included with admission, but will be available for purchase at select locations. Gates will open at 7 p.m. Early Entry is not valid for this event. All park rules, policies and procedures will be in place. Schedule, event and ride availability subject to change without notice.

The dining deal now says it is "valid any day the park is open to the public for regular operation during the 2015 season." This sounds like they may not be accepting the dining plan Friday.

I do not think it is valid tomorrow, but I guess we won't know until then!

Already feeling bad for the workers in Guests Services. You know there will be people in there complaining about not being able to use their dining plan.

Its 3 hours, go ride! Its been a long Winter!

Not everyone rides, I know a lot of people with passes that go with familys, but never ride..

I don't know. It seems pretty straightforward to me. I bought a season dining pass. The first day of the season is Saturday, May 9.

Exactly, not much different from Ohio State Day being excluded from season pass admissions. The season starts Saturday with Opening Day. Tomorrow is an extra perk, enjoy it.

Hope everyone has a nice season, it should be a great one!

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Well darn it... only 6 months to use the all season dining plan since I can't use it on preview night. Guess I'll have to suck it up and get some hand cut fries that I've been waiting 6 months for.

Are you expecting to pay the $15 for parking since the season hasn't started?

No, because they stated on the event page that parking is free.

I just used all season plan with no trouble.

Did it take anyone else a half hour just to get through the front gate? I felt sorry for the people who were waiting in line to have their season passes processed.

I decided to skip this after the cluster F*** Carowinds season pass preview night was. Only plus side there was the entire park was open and operating for 6 hours instead of limited attractions and 3 hours.

Looking forward to a dead park Monday.

Wolfbobs, I don't know you, but hope to find you Monday.

I parked in the back and used the Resort/Soak City Gate. Only had to wait for 6 people in front of me.

We were to meet friends who had to get their passes processed. They never made it into the park.

Wonder if the park was surprised at the turn out, I sure was. Knew it would be interesting when I hit stopped traffic on the Rye Beach Rd. exit from SR2.

Pity so many coasters were having issues or running most of the evening without passengers.

My daughter's first dolor big coaster ride on Corkscrew resulted in her train getting stopped on the lift hill for a bit. People gotta' put the cell phones away. She thought it was awesome.

Long day for me, at the park at five am for press preview, then to work in Cleveland, go home pick up kid and back to the park. Fun day, but, good night!

Unfortunately this is a advertised event to drive season pass sales. Understandable. However, I wish it was just an email blast to current pass holders who had renewed by a certain date the previous season. How nice would it be to have that as a little "thank you for your loyalty" event.

It was a disaster on every level; nothing was operating normally outside of the B&Ms and the CP&LE. Restrooms filthy; long lines for food - nobody knows what they are doing. Most rides are operational, but only for dry runs; all you get to do is watch from the midway.

It was nothing but a trial run for opening day at the expense of their most loyal customers. Very disappointing.
