thanks in advance

Last year it took about 3 minutes from the time I entered the little room where they take the pics until I had my pass in my hand. I suppose it depends on when you go and what time of day it is.

If you are asking about the time it takes to get the pass including waiting for others in front of you, it really depends on when you go. If you go on a day before the park opens, you shouldn't wait long at all (30 min at most). But if you go on Opening Day, expect a HUGE wait - SEVERAL hours. Weekdays in May aren't bad, weekends are worse than weekdays but still not near Opening Day.

Speaking of season passes, this is my first one. Before I go, should I sign them with my name or anything? There are areas on the certificates for your name and other things (don't know what those spaces are for, so should I leave them alone until I get to the park)?

Even with certificates, you still have to complete a card with information to go along with the certificate. When lines are long, I believe they hand these out so they can be completed while waiting.

I don't think you need to fill out anything on your certificate before you get there. You will have to fill out a sheet when you arrive with your information (for Season Pass mailings and as a record that you have a pass.)

One way to make things go smoother would be to pay attention what is going on around you. If the pass office is busy, both doors may be open and taking people. Make sure you print legibly, this will help you get your pass faster. Also, make sure your pass is correct as soon as you get it...Combo, Senior, Junior, Marina, Regular, Joe Cool Club and/or Parking endorsement.

Obviously, the pass office is busiest in the morning. If it is at all possible, you could avoid processing it on opening day, or the morning of any early season day. I would have to predict that May 11 will also be very busy. I know it was done before, but don't count on being let into the park with just your certificate, you will need to get your picture ID.

And if there was no other reason to come get your pass processed early, you'll get to see my smiling face.

It is highly recommended that you spend the time to get your pass before the park opens. Otherwise you will have to wait for a few hours, the hours seem very long because everyone in the park is having fun while you are anxiously and impatiently awaiting your entrance into the park.

Even if you live an hour or so away from the park, I would go get your pass. Take a weekday short trip and get it out of the way. It will be less painful! And you get to see the park a little.

They start to process end of next week for those wanting to know..

Even though I could have done the mail-in thing. I like to have an updated picture...
