Season pass or tickets.
I am going to CP for a few days. Would it be cheaper for 2 day passes, and 1 twilight pass, or a passport?
The ride and slide tickets give you a "Day 1" CP ticket, "Day1" Soak City ticket, "Day 2" CP ticket, and "Day2" Soak City ticket. Day one and day two can be used any day of the season, so yes, you can get into CP for both days with them. The catch is that on the day you use "Day 1" CP, you must use "Day 1" Soak City that same day, otherwise it becomes void. Same thing if you use the "Day 1" Soak City pass, "Day 1" CP must be used that same day. Lots of people seem to not know about this little catch and show up at the gates with voided Ride and Slide tickets.

Ralph, EXCEPT if you buy a ride n slide before SC is open for the season, then one of your SC passes is good any time. Or at least thats the way the girl at Breakers explained it to me on Opening day a couple years ago.

John, I don't believe that's true---but even if it's not, it's only $10 to use your SC "half" on a day other than your CP "half", and that's still a pretty good deal.
Just suck it up and buy a Season Pass. You may have an unexpected additional visit to CP or another Cedar Fair park (MiAdv). Especially if you know you can get in for "free".
